Some answers to your questions:

Why?
You will be using your blog during this course to further your understanding of news on various media platforms. It is both a notebook for chronicling what you learn and a soapbox for your thoughts on the media worlds you'll be studying and, at some point, entering.

I'll be using your blog to further my understanding of your understanding. I'm looking for convincingly original thought. For an outline of what your blog means for your overall grade in the course, please see the Class Syllabus.

What?
You'll be exploring and commenting on the journalism, social and economic issues in each medium. Your blog posts will include your own thoughts and links to relevant information supporting your assertions. Your blog should center on each medium as we go through it in class.

How?
You'll be using Blogger. Your site will include links to other student's sites and to other sites and blogs on the web. You are encouraged to post comments on those sites.

When?
At least three times a week and starting about...now.
